This could have been a good movie but it missed the mark. First it grossly mischaracterized law enforcement officers. The sheriff repeatedly yelled "Goddamn" in front of his 5 and 7 year old daughters.
That was disgusting and not consistent with Harrelson's character. The ending left everyone hanging especially after the DNA evidence did not point to the person who admitted to the brutal murder of the teenage girl.
The acting was ok.
