Review of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) by Leelustig — 17 Jan 2018
A bold and slightly unusual film. Brutal and bleak yet funny and quirky. One of those films that you won't want to turn off even if you're unsure as to why. The reason is simply that the characters are extremely compelling and the story is packed with unexpected turns.
McDormand is amazing as always but Rockwell's character arc is what steals the show. A film about how far calculated hate can take you, for better or worse.
