Sloppy and dragging plot, pointless writing, cringe-worthy dialogue, characters very hard to care about, several editing mistakes and few worthy performances besides McDormand, (kind of) Harellson, and Caleb Landry Jones.
Character choices and reactions were unmotivated and made little sense. Usually I agree with majority opinions, especially critics, and I'm very confused by the reaction to this film. To clarify I will rewatch soon.
