Review of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) by Fedorko — 13 Nov 2017
This is one of the best written movies of the year. Martin McDonagh proves again to be one of the best narrative storytellers alive. Not only is the movie's narrative written tightly, but throughout it explores the theme of how hatred and revenge bring people together, and not always in a virtuous way.
Frances McDermott and Sam Rockwell deliver stunning performances and the direction makes the movie multi-dimensional in terms of energy and tone. McDonagh's adept writing could make you empathize with a serial killer.
