Review of Three and Out (2008) by Themighty B — 28 Apr 2008
Typical Britcom:
Starts funny, get to serious premise, funny interludes, serious bit, emotional bit, uplifting ending.
Crook doesn't seem to have the depth to pull off this role. Meany and Arterton are competent, but Imelda Staunton steals the show here.
Some laugh-out-loud moments, but ultimately film-by-numbers. See Forgetting Sarah Marshall instead.
This'll be £2.99 in Woolies within the year.
