Review of ¡Three Amigos! (1986) by Kristopher V — 15 May 2010
This John Landis ("Coming to America", "Animal House") comedy hasn't held up that well. Most jokes fall flat and the story isn't the strongest. This film has its moments that I remember and really enjoy.
Steve Martin ("The Jerk", "Cheaper by the Dozen"), Chevy Chase ("Community", "Vacation" series), and Martin Short ("Mars Attacks!", "Father of the Bride") are the Three Amigos. They battle Alfonso Arau. Jon Lovitz ("The Critic", "Rat Race") has a small part.
I'm disappointed that this film isn't as good as I remembered. 2/5 stars. (5/16/10).
