One of my Top 15 Funniest Movies. Thoroughly entertaining comedy. I get a kick out of this movie ever time I see it. It's pure fantasy, and that's part of the charm.
Special credit due to Randy Newman for the songs he contributed and his role as co-writer. Also to Alfonso Arau as El Guapo.
