Three Amigos! might be the funniest Saturday Night Live movie that... wait, it's not an SNL movie? Still, it's a very amusing takeoff of The Magnificent Seven (which is a retelling of Seven Samurai) that's mixed with a little Tropic Thunder and has one of the funniest comedy ensembles since Ghostbusters.

There are a couple plot holes, which you would think would be irrelevant in a comedy, but they are glaring enough to distract. However, Three Amigos is a great comedy from the 1980's with three humorous leads (Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Martin Short) in their prime and should be essential viewing if you were a fan of Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, and Airplane!
