Review of ¡Three Amigos! (1986) by Emmanuel S — 25 Nov 2013
Basically a spoof of Magnificent Seven/Seven Samurai. I watched this and A Bug's Life within days, which is also a movie based off those films and has elements of this as well. Basically a Mexican village is being bullied by some bandits, so they hire what they think to be gunslingers to come and scare them away.
However, they soon find out they are just actors playing roles. Eventually, the actors decide to help the town and save the day, blah blah blah, typical Hollywood. Still a pretty good movie, Does a good job of creating the western style movie and brings some good jokes to the table.
