Review of Threads (1985) by Phil S — 12 Oct 2007
Spent ages looking for this... It's kind of a must see, and the acting is very public service announcement and therefore all the more chilling. Very disturbing because of the implications of what really would happen and what the authorities would really do about it.
The hospital scene will stay with you. However, for quite a sensible movie from a disaster management perspective it inexplicably throws away common sense at the end!! Probably the best (serious) bomb movie, but then the genre is a bit lacking.
