Rather than showing valiant fighters battling cancer, the film focuses on their loved ones, a husband and girlfriend who cross paths in the oncology ward and turn to one another to cope with their grief.
In her directorial debut, French actress Anne Le Ny delivers a touching, all-too-human love story that conveys everything through closely observed detail. Outstanding.
