Review of Thoroughbreds Don't Cry (1937) by Gregory W — 19 Aug 2009
Thoroughbreds Don't Cry (1937) -- [4.0] -- This was an early film for both Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney, and their first together. With Ronald Sinclair they form an insufferably sweet trio who ride horses and sing songs.
I suppose it's possible this appealed to general audiences in the late `30s, but it doesn't date well.
