An eccentric but irresistibly sophisticated film, although Thoroughbreds is definetly unconventional, it nevertheless captures your attention with its carefully constructed story, visual attractiveness and rather thougt-provoking concepts.
It also playfully manages to switch tones without losing control of its twisted intentions.
