Review of Thoroughbreds (2018) by Justfizz Y — 11 Mar 2018
This film puts you right where it wants you every inch of the way, no wasted motions.
In the theater I kept falling into a dream lasting only microseconds. In the dream I was staring into a snakes eyes, mesmerized, unable to move, somehow in love and hopeful. Each dream the snake moved around the pit, taking its time before devouring me when it got hungry. Each time I woke up from the dream I found myself watching a movie, but instead of one snake there were two.
Lethal performances by olivia cOoke and ana taylor-joy. A work of art by corey finley. Anton yelchin rip, we miss you.
(Apologies if this ends up in all caps.).
