Thoroughbreds is a slow burn of a movie, with exceptional dialogue and one beautiful house. Relying on lush visual style, a subtle yet sporadic soundtrack, this dialogue driven drama/thriller is a real treat to watch.
It is a fresh approach to a murder plot that falls to subtext and characters playing off of one another to advance the story to its wonderful climax. Pay attention to this one, otherwise you might miss two very unique characters Change in the most gentle and disarming of ways.
