Review of Thor: The Dark World (2013) by Justin P — 18 Nov 2014
Like with Iron Man 3, the actors give a good performance, the action scenes and visuals are nice. But Thor: The Dark World has it even worse. It's not entirely terrible, but it suffers from a pretty slow pace, a forgettable villain with weak and generic motives, which makes the story weak (Seriously, what do you gain from destroying the Nine Realms, Malekith?), and good lord, there are too much gags in this movie.
I think the times that I did laugh are the cameos with Stan Lee and Captain America and the bit with Thor putting his hammer on a coat hangar. At its peak, the movie is just OK.
