Review of Thor: The Dark World (2013) by Victor F — 26 Apr 2015
I didn't see the first Thor movie because I don't care about Thor. After watching "Thor: The Dark World", that seems to have been a wise choice because I still don't care about Thor.
Hemsworth struck me as a fairly dull pretty boy in "The Avengers" and I can't say this film altered my view much. While he gets a few comic moments that work in this film, he mostly gets to stand around and not have any chemistry with Natalie Portman.
Just for a change, the climax involves energy shooting into the sky while the universe is threatened. Who could have seen that coming?
