Review of Thor: The Dark World (2013) by Aaron M — 31 May 2015

Thor: The Dark World is a massive improvement on the first movie. Its far more eventful and action packed, follows on nicely from the Avengers and is greatly helped by Loki. Having Hiddlestone on screen made the movie much more charismatic and it was a nice touch having him involved following the Avengers.

Thor still comes across as a bit of a melodrama though, the whole movie has too many lame jokes and suffers from rubbish human characters who are far too bland. Far too sci-fi for me compared to the other marvel movies but its improving as a standalone.
