Solid, but not spectacular. The sequel has some great scenes and moments, especially when Tom Hiddleston's Lori is on screen, but lacks drama, suspense, or heart for the most part. Definitely feels like a step up when it comes to visuals but a step back when it comes to storytelling.
Also no need for 3D at all, but seeing in IMAX was nice. The best part of the movie, was the preview for Guardians with Benecio del Toro...he looks like he might bring some fun and kitsch that Marvel movies have lacked lately.
