Review of Thor: The Dark World (2013) by Brendan%20 P — 18 Nov 2017
Sadly, like Iron Man 3, Thor could not live up to the potential of the movies that came before it. Natalie Portman is still bland, the villains of the story are only that, and the secondary characters on Earth, and Thor's friends in Asgard, are flat and forgetful.
Like the first movie though, the relationship between Thor and Loki is the only thing that holds the movie together, their banter is what will keep you engaged, along with some admittedly great action sequences, but when the end plays nearly the same as the first movie, it causes you to unfortunately care less about these great characters in a forgetful movie.
