Review of Thor: The Dark World (2013) by Roger M — 19 Jan 2015
Decently entertaining, but relying far more on comic book mythology and physics to the point where it might turn off or confuse more casual fans. Hiddleston and Hemsworth are in fine form, while Russo and Portman are solid, but the other actors appear a bit underused, played for comedy, and in the case of Hopkins just walking through the part.
Still, there's enough here to keep the film interesting, and the action is solid.
