Review of Thor: The Dark World (2013) by Keshav P — 18 Jul 2015
The sequel improves a bit from the first one, but the same mistakes still exist. Chris Hemsworth's acting, or lack thereof, hinders this movie from the beginning. But thankfully, this time, Thor actually has his powers, so the action sequences are bearable to watch.
Tom Hiddleston returns as the villainous Loki, who is always fun to watch. But once again this movie sacrifices the Loki aspect in favour of the romance between Thor and Natalie Portman's character, something that has been done a thousand times before in other superhero movies.
