Review of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) by Sandro R — 03 Jan 2018
There's a lot of humour, there are some awesome action scenes and the film offers plenty of eye-candy.
It has a quirky feel to it, and it doesn't take itself very seriously. Because of this, the stakes never feel that high, but the fact that it appreciates it's own absurdity gives it a lot of freedom.
There are a couple of welcome new additions to the cast, and Hemsworth, Ruffalo and Hiddleston seem like they have a lot of fun, although the latter's presence seems more and more forced as this series progresses.
If you enjoy the MCU movies, you're gonna have a blast with this one.
