Review of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) by Slade T — 14 Feb 2018

Great film. Get ready to laugh. And be prepared for some spoilers. You've seen this right? if not watch it then come and see me. I felt like this was a version of Star Wars and Gaurdians of the Galaxy and Flash Gordon.

If anyone wants to do a space movie take notes. It was colorful and stylistic. It was just plain hilarious and rightfully so under great direction Taika Waititi who actually played a character. The other funny thing is I didn't even watch the other one's like the first and second installment.

The movie fills in the gaps in the beginning and makes sure you are up to speed. Very colorful and Jeff Goldblum didn't need to be in the movie but it didn't hurt he was so subtle it was almost like wait.

. that was Jeff Goldblum right? It helped that Thor had a makeover so he was the Fresh Prince of Asgard. Plus my man Chris Hemsies was actually one of the main characters cracking jokes which added to his hey I'm a blonde jock from another world vibe.

It can only make you likable Thor even if you only have one eye. Yes the way you got one eye was very unrealistic but hey battle scars it shows character. Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie gave off a real nice tough love/badass vibe.

Yes she is very hot and guess who else Cate Blanchett. I have not seen Curious Benjamin Button but I don't need to. I think that's actually on my list of movies I am not interested in watching but sadly I don't know any other movies that Caty B is in.

I'm sure it's a ton. Back to Thor Hela was a very sinister Underworld hot idk if it's the black hair and the skin tight outfit but the antlers had to go in many instances. I was amazed at how powerful she was and it made sense like oh sorry Thor you can't beat big sis nobody can.

More women gotta have powers like that it's kinda sexy so Thanks Marvel I'd watch this one again for sure. It was cool seeing my man Marky Mark(Hulk)get mean and green but most of the time I was like yea.

.. can you change back in to Hulk already? The banter back and forth between Thor and Bruce was classic. The movie overall allowed characters to play off each other. If I wanted to I could ask questions like is Heimdall Moses leading the people into the promise land and why didn't he ever use the sword was it just for like a portal or a good way to use props? I was hoping to see more of my man Idris Elba in action but not so muich.

The way they communicated was cool it was like Jedi status, sorry for the Star Wars reference I'll write a review for those movies later.
