So this was supposed to be a comedy! Thor lost an eye, his three best friends were killed, his home town destroyed, and his father died! Why??? These are characters and settings that should be used for many Marvel movies to come and not ended so quickly.
Stick to the Jack Kirby/Stan Lee source material they understood the character best.
