Review of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) by Jacob W — 13 Mar 2018
This movie completely detracts from what the Thor series was originally going for and I couldn't be happier. Only gripe is that I don't understand what Loki's direction is. How'd he go from genocidal maniac to a protagonist with selfish tendencies? Hopefully that will be answered in Infinity War.
Aside from that, this movie was hilarious and took a stale series in a new, exciting direction that builds anticipation for upcoming MCU films. Definitely one of the best standalone MCU movies we've seen in a while.
Also, it was hilarious and had great action, which added to the quality of this film. Excited to see how everything that happened in this story plays out in future MCU films.
