Review of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) by Pete 'N Eddie D — 27 Apr 2018

If we could rate more than 5 Stars we would. Starting with "Iron Man" in 2008, Marvel Studios set the bar pretty high and over the past 10 years they have mostly hit or slightly surpassed it and very few went slightly below (like maybe 1 or 2).

But this movie, "Thor: Ragnarok" jettisoned past them all and is, in our opinion, the best film in the MCU. Instead of resting on their laurels, Marvel Studios continued to improve on their movie-making and technology used in the films.

Everything about this film was superb with plenty of action, plenty of humor, great cinematography,, and we were so glad to see they finally found a vehicle for Bruce Banner/Hulk that lets us see more sides to both characters.

..and at the same time it took nothing away from neither Thor nor Loki. The new characters were all fresh and never obligatory. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
