Review of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) by Robbyp — 29 Nov 2017

The humor felt really forced to me and in some cases, out of place. Because of this, none of the stakes felt real. Why should I care if the characters are just making gags all over the place? Ragnarok was a complete change in tone for the Thor franchise that I could not get behind. The first two weren't Oscar worthy, but at least something actually felt important in them.

Besides that, continuity of characterization from other installments in the franchise went out the window.
