Review of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) by Compi24 — 14 Nov 2017
As far as "action comedies" are concerned, "Thor: Ragnarok" delivers on both fronts. There are laughs to be had. Like a whole lot of em.' Genuine ones that I'm sure comedic-oriented director Taika Waititi had a hand in fine tuning.
There is violence to be had too. Amazingly glorious showcases of it, in fact. To say that this is the best "Thor" movie by far may be a bit of an empty claim, but my claim, it remains. It's fun, funny, and memorable, which are three separate traits I can't honestly say many recent MCU films have possessed simultaneously.
Definitely worth a look if you're a fan of the character or, if you're like me and have been holding out hope for the franchise to try something different.
