Review of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) by Samantha M — 13 Feb 2018
Thor Ragnarok is a fun ride through and through, embrancing the campiness of its source material to breathe new life into a character and franchise that never quite clicked with its audience, without relying on Tom Hiddleston to carry it through.
With likeable characters, a galaxy-trekking plot and a fantastic sense of humour that one-ups every other Marvel film. Although nothing revolutionary for the MCU or superhero films as a whole, Thor Ragnarok proves that 2017 may be the best year for Marvel films yet all while being everything a superhero movie should.
