Review of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) by Phishakid10 — 18 Jul 2022
First off, if you have read the comic series, fair warning you will HATE this. Ragnarok for me was super enjoyable and I was excited to see the next Marvel installment by Waikiki, but boy was I wrong. Huge opportunities are missed here with the Gorr the God Butcher character, Comedy relief is forced for no good reason, and anytime kids are overused as main plot points I usually roll my eyes.
If you want a family friendly film, then go watch Clifford the Big Red Dog and leave Thor alone! I will not include spoilers, but this nonsensical bologna needs to stop. The property and stories already exist, STOP TRYNING TO MAKE THEM YOUR OWN! This film ends with a new character that doesn't exist in Marvel literature and leads you to a pretty "easy to figure out" next installment that NOBODY should be excited for.
.. When does Wakanda Forever come out because I'm over this crap.
