Review of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) by Lambo442 — 16 Jul 2022

I came away from this film feeling depressed. Don't we go to watch films like this for some escapism? Instead I'm forced to watch a beloved character dying of cancer. It makes no sense to me why they decided to do this.

The film would have been better if Jane had been cured by the hammer and stayed a superhero. Do we have to have terminally ill people represented in films now? I came home with my girlfriend and we both sat in silence feeling miserable before arguing and going to bed.
