Review of Thor (2011) by Neuroitc-Isopod — 21 May 2011
Gaudy nonsense, Natalie Portman seems a bit like a fish out of water. Chis Hemsworth is attractive enough but he's all flash no BANG or substance to the character. There is no romantic atmosphere between the two mains.
Very run of the mill plot and far too much special effects going on to even give the any of the crappy plot they had a chance. They could have had fun with Loki but they really didn't (he's supposed to be a trickster!) I'd have been happy with mediocre malevolent ursurper instead of emo jealous wimp.
many of the characters seem quite pointless. By the end of the movie I just really was not enjoying it, not even as a popcorn flick.
