Better than I had been led to believe. Visually impressive, since I wasn't sure how they would be able to represent Asgard in this movie. Natalie Portman didn't hurt it. But at the end of the day it didn't really do much for me.
There was a good novelty factor, I mean how cool is it to see Thor on the screen? But it seemed very mechanical, and it really shows that the movie studio is just pumping out these movies by the numbers.
The cool effects are responsible for at least a half star of this rating.
