Review of Thor (2011) by Matt N — 05 Oct 2014

It begins better than any superhero movie ever before, but as soon as Thor falls to earth, you can't help but feel bored and annoyed by the terrible attempt at making his incompetence on earth feel comical.

It is funny, but only because it is so ridiculous. That said, however, it all gets turned around in the third act when we see Thor finally break out into his element and this saves the film from turning into a massive let down.
