Review of Thor (2011) by Kurt F — 14 Feb 2016

2/13/16 Thor and I have a history, myself having collected the comic book when I was a kid. Even still, it took me over 5 years from release to actually see the film. I was pleasantly surprised though.

I thought the first half hour was the best.... battles taking place in Asgard. The Film's feel changes a lot when it moves to Midgard (Earth), but it still has good action and the plot isn't obvious.

The one complaint I would have is that the "love" story isn't very believable. Maybe it was the lack of chemistry between the two, but I really couldn't see a reason why they would want to be together.

Still, it was a very enjoyable action film and it has some very nice visuals as well.
