Review of Thor (2011) by Lawrence B — 31 Jul 2016
Shakespeare supremo Kenneth Branagh ventures into new (and certainly different) territory as he brings Marvel's Norse-god superhero to the screen. As with most first movie outings for comic-book characters, there's not much in the way of plot but Branagh keeps things pacy and fun whilst Chris Hemoworth makes for a refreshingly unique hero in the well-worn genre.
