Review of Thor (2011) by Jacob W — 06 May 2015

Thor is a movie that is vital to what comes later in the series because based on who the villain is, it's going to bring joy to fans because this movie was great! I had a lot of fun with Thor. It had a blend of being adventurey, actiony, comedic and even political.

Thor himself is a really enjoyable protagonist and really is what makes this movie so great. Chris Hemsworth is phenomenal as Thor, I can only see him playing this role. Loki is a very cool villain and was scary at times to me! He has only the best qualities of a villain and it really worked well.

The cast was pretty good, but some choices were better than others. The only complaint that I have is that it's stretched out a little long and I think it would've been better if it were a bit less lengthy.

Thor proves to be another great Marvel movie and has a high rewatch value. B.
