This was a very good superhero movie. It stayed true to the comic book origins. It seamlessly blended the mystical world of Asgard and the Earth. Chris Hemsworth captured the essence of the title character.
As did Tom Hiddleston with his portrayal of the villain. The special effects were fantastic. All of the elements (action, drama, spot-on humor, romance, and suspense) were very well balanced. And to top it off, the musical score (Patrick Doyle) was one of the best heard in this genre.
