Review of Thor (2011) by Markus T — 01 Jun 2017
This movie has charm, and I adore director Kenneth Branagh for providing a "Shakespeare-vibe" into a science fiction movie. Thor blending in at Earth is great comedy, Loki is a decent villain as you understand his motivations, and the CGI is ok+.
The movie does however take itself too serious at times, and the writing is a bit off at times. Some of the earth stuff doesn't work, and much of the plot is very predictable. The love story is.. bad.
Best score of any MCU movie. Period.
And yes, it's better than both Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk.
