Thor is a great comic book movie that actually made Chris Hemsworth famous. Chris Hemsworth is great in this and is the right choice for Thor. There's actually a few fish out of water jokes in this which you would expect more coming out of the premise, and it's actually different, unexpected, and really funny.

Some people find Kat Dennings annoying and unfunny which I actually understand why, but she's not in it much and she does give a few chuckles for me even though I do think she's not one of the best parts.

The chemistry between Thor and Jane is standard and it really didn't do much with it which I was very disappointed as it could've done better. The effects are amazing with examples with the Bifrost palace looking really creative and cool, and the portal gate is exhilarating to look at.

The chemistry between Thor and Loki and better than the love interest as I'm more interested and get a laugh here and there at these two then the other. People might be worried that when Thor gets to Earth, it's going to be boring, but it creates enough humor to get you interested.

Thor is a heck of an attempt by Kenneth Branagh to put the God of thunder to the big screens, and it succeeds.
