Review of Thor (2011) by Brandizzle B — 26 Apr 2016
When I heard that Thor was going to be a movie I was feeling that it would fall in the catagory of those roman-like films that have all british accents and over the top fight scenes. Instaed I got a mix of Lord of the Rings and Men in Black.
First off The plot actually felt like there was thought put into it, however there also seems to be too much thought at certain points. I didnt like Hemsworth for the same reasons Loki does not like Thor, he is the bully big brother everyone can hate and seems really stupid for most of the movie, but when its time to suit up he definetly fits the role.
Hiddleston and Hopkins are awesome! Loki is the best villain in the MCU thus far, but Portman is probably the worst character since pepper potts. Costume design in this movie is perfect! they really capture the feel of a godly clothing designer.
And Finally an MCU score I pretend im a superhero to! I can only hope the studio takes the good and makes it better. Bonus points for the Frost giant King, he was daunting.
