Review of Thor (2011) by Kenneth B — 25 Mar 2015
The problem with Thor is the plot-its just too weak, and thin. They could've done so, so much more with it. And things move too quickly in some spots and its focus is taken off of Asgard mainly because the filmmakers wanted this movie to be literally 'down to earth'.
Now don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this movie. There is a lot here to enjoy. The visuals are very entertaining and there are two strong performances with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleson. But there's just no substance backing this movie up, and in the end it becomes just another trailer for the Avengers.
