Thor is a great looking movie, and is also pure entertainment, it sets a pretty "human" humor to it, the performances were great, escpecially Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman who add complexity to the relationship between gods and mortals, the action and special effects are dazzling, Kenneth Branagh executed his vision perfectly.
