I also agree that this is a wonderful film for very young children. I was a Thomas fan when I was a youngling and I saw this film when I was 9. From the moment I saw Stuart Little, this film appeared in the trailors, and I just had to go see it.
There is a nice balance of live action with the trains, and the music is wonderful. This film is an 8 in my books.
