Review of Thomas & Friends: Trouble on the Tracks (2014) by Kevin R — 09 Mar 2016
Just be patient.
Working as a team is always a challenge on the Island of Sodor. Often, the trains have the best intentions for doing what they do, but when they don't work as a team; their tasks often fall short of expectations. We witness a series of events of the trains being selfish and not working together and the outcomes of their actions.
"They didn't like to be pushed and they didn't like to be pulled.".
Four directors collaborate to deliver Thomas & Friends: Trouble on the Tracks. The storylines in this picture are fun and worth following. This isn't an all time classic movie, but nice series of short stories that will keep children's attention if they're fans of the show. The animation is on par with the television series and just okay.
"Beware the flatbeds of fear!".
We grab all of these films off Netflix and watch them together. My daughter does enjoy these pictures for the most part. I wouldn't say they're overly special, but there are some good lessons and worthwhile characters in the series. I recommend watching these once.
"If you want to go fast...".
Grade: C+.
