Oh Dumbledore, what are you up to? Richard Harris, before the disaster of that cake in the rain, stars as a beastly miner/rugby player, a sort of D.H. Lawrence antagonist 50 years on. Between smashing about in the Yorkshire mud and smashing his lonely landlady's china, Harris turns in an emotional, Brando-esque performance.
