For quite a downbeat film, there's a lot to like about this, starting with the soundtrack featuring Simple Minds. I think the Director has a great eye for small details and that really appeals to me.

I liken watching it to those marvelous wind-up toys I loved so much as a kid. Whose sounds and moving frames mesmerized me even though you were staring at the same frame. If I were a film maker just out of film school, this is the sort of film I'd like to make.
