Review of This Must Be the Place (2011) by Gabriel D — 28 Dec 2012
Cheyenne comes across as a likable character, although a bit obtuse. Sean Penn acts well. However, the script sucks, where he goes hunting for this Nazi war criminal, that apparently humiliated his father.
However, Cheyenne was not on speaking terms with his father, anyway, so why should he care? So he goes on this trip across America, and he meets some interesting characters. He finally finds the Nazi, who is old.
Together with another Jew, they strip the Nazi, and leave him locked outside the house, which, btw, is in the middle of the desert. Then, they go back to New York City. And Cheyenne gives up on the Goth lifestyle and gets a normal-looking haircut.
