Bolstered by a strong performance from Sean Penn (that I personally and surprisingly didn't find annoying), This Must Be The Place is interesting and much funnier than I'd expected, but it leaves too many things undefined or unresolved to be particularly satisfying.
It also takes a few too many sidetracks with too many subplots and characters.
